In high-income NYC neighborhoods, the percentage of individuals with bachelor’s degrees or above is as high as 85%. In lower-income areas, it's as low as 7%. Our 4 College Access programs (College Prep, SAT Prep, FAFSA Prep, and Sophomore Skills) aim to bridge the gap between underserved students and their more affluent peers by providing free SAT tutoring, financial aid workshops, and college application assistance to high school students. In 2018, we served 3,255 students in total and our SAT Prep students increased their scores by 100 points on average.
